Life as a Realtor, wife, mom, and follower of Christ is an incredible journey, full of joys, challenges, and the occasional balancing act. It’s a calling that requires me to juggle appointments, deadlines, family dinners, and quiet moments with God—all while striving to serve my clients with the utmost care and professionalism.
It hasn’t always been easy to maintain harmony among these roles, but over the years, I’ve learned that intentionality and faith make all the difference. Here’s a glimpse into how I navigate the intertwining paths of faith, family, and career—and how you can, too.
Faith as the Foundation
In the busyness of real estate, it’s easy to get swept up in the demands of work. Yet, my faith is the anchor that keeps me grounded. Starting each day with scripture and prayer reminds me of who I am in Christ and equips me to handle the uncertainties and pressures of the day.
As a Realtor, I often witness my clients’ lives in moments of significant change—new homes, growing families, fresh starts. I see my role not just as a professional but as someone who can bring a sense of peace and assurance through the process. When things get challenging, I lean into verses like Proverbs 3:5-6, which remind me to trust in the Lord with all my heart.
Family First: Protecting What Matters Most
Family is my why. As a mom to two young boys, a bonus mom to two older sons, and a wife to my incredible husband, Mike, I’ve learned that quality time matters more than a perfect schedule.
I make it a priority to set boundaries, carving out time for family dinners, movie nights, and outdoor play with our puppy, Rocky. This also means leaning on my support system—my husband is not just my partner in life but also in business. His strength, wisdom, and encouragement are gifts I never take for granted.
Building a Career with Balance
Real estate is more than a job; it’s a passion. I love connecting with clients, guiding them through one of life’s biggest decisions, and seeing the joy on their faces when they step into their dream home. But staying present for both clients and family requires discipline.
I’ve implemented time-blocking to maximize productivity during work hours, leaving evenings and weekends as much as possible for family. This balance also includes self-care—because I’ve realized that when I’m at my best, I can give my best to everyone around me.
Making Health a Priority
One of the ways I’ve started to pour back into myself is by prioritizing physical and mental health. Recently, I joined Burn Boot Camp, a gym that has become a sanctuary of sorts. They not only provide an amazing workout but also offer complimentary child watch, allowing moms and dads to focus on themselves for 45 minutes.
This time to move my body, clear my mind, and build strength has been transformative. It’s more than just fitness—it’s a reminder that I can’t pour from an empty cup. And when I return home or to work after a session, I feel renewed and ready to tackle the day.
Encouragement for the Journey Ahead
Balancing faith, family, and a career in real estate—or any field—isn’t about perfection. It’s about intentionality, grace, and staying true to your values. When the load feels heavy, lean into God’s strength and trust His plan for your life.
To every parent, professional, or believer navigating a full and meaningful life: you’re doing incredible work. Keep showing up, keep seeking balance, and know that God’s grace is sufficient for every moment.
If you’re in a season of change—whether it’s buying a home, growing your family, or pursuing a new dream—I’d be honored to walk alongside you. Reach out anytime and let’s navigate this journey together.
